Flügger Floor Varnish is perfect for the treatment of wood flooring. Gives a dirt-resistant, robust and durable surface.

Product Description

Matt varnish primer. Rich, easy to sand and fast-drying. Recommended for sealing untreated, new or scoured surfaces. The floor primer seals the wood and minimizes the uptake of tannic acid and side bonding.

Priming of new, untreated or totally clean wooden floors.
For all types of wood before finishing treatment using Flügger Floor Varnish in the desired gloss and quality.


Must be untreated, clean, dry, firm and suitable for surface treatment.


Sand new wood before priming.
Varnish or paint must be completely removed down to clean wood by sanding.
Vacuum clean and dry with a hard-wrung cloth.
Finish treatment with Flügger Floor Varnish.


Brush or roller.
Decide on your mode of application according to the desired finish.
Apply wet on wet and finish by brushing/rolling in the same direction, avoid overlap and varnish-pools.
Always use the same batch number on contiguous/unbroken surfaces.
Differences in surface structure can result in a deviation in gloss.
Cold/heat can affect the viscosity of the material.
Condensation must be prevented during drying/curing.
Cold and increased humidity extends drying time, full curing and recoat interval.
Increased temperature and low atmospheric humidity reduce drying time and full curing.
Wood floors must have balanced moisture when undergoing treatment.
Check adhesion by pressing a coin perpendicularly against the varnished surface.
Always perform a test treatment for a check and acceptance of adhesion and result

Finish treat using Flügger Floor Varnish in the desired quality and gloss.

Environmental information

Clean off the paint from tools and wash them with water. Bring remains of fluent paint to the local recycling centre. Minimize your paint waste by pre-estimating how much paint you need. Keep the leftover paint for future use so you can effectively reduce the environmental impact.

Storage: Cool, frost free and tightly closed
